I am Millena Vilas Boas, a Brazilian-licensed attorney with over ten years of experience at leading firms and corporations in Brazil and the United States. I hold a Bachelor of Laws from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie and an LL.M. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in Chicago. I am admitted to the Brazilian Bar (OAB/SP No. 369,959) and currently preparing for the New York and California Bar exams.
I specialize in Digital Law, with postgraduate studies at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), and I am a CIPP-certified privacy professional by the IAPP. My practice includes intellectual property and major data protection frameworks such as LGPD, GDPR, CCPA and HIPAA.
My career focuses on complex transactions and strategic decisions across jurisdictions, including M&A, corporate reorganizations, contracts, due diligence and litigation in sectors such as technology, life sciences, energy and retail, always with attention to the people involved.
Today, my practice is structured around five integrated areas: Immigration Law, Corporate Law, Family and Estate Planning, Digital Law, IP and Privacy, and Strategic Communications, allowing a comprehensive and aligned approach to each client.
I work in Portuguese, English, Spanish and Italian, and divide my time between Brazil and the United States, assisting clients in cross-border matters and international life decisions.
